I was thrilled to see this news from General Convention when I got in to my office this morning. Today, I hope and pray that the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) remain an enthusiastic rallying point for the whole of the Episcopal Church USA and that the momentum of last night's U2-Charist keeps on rolling throughout Convention.
Resolution D031 which makes justice and peace the top budget priority will go before the House of Deputies. My friends, this is what it means to be the church at work in the world!!!!
